The department of Physiotherapy – KMCT College of Allied Health Sciences organized a webinar on 8th Sept. The department of Physiotherapy organized the webinar in connection with World Physiotherapy day celebration. Faculty members and students attended the webinar.

Professor Santheep Sankar [ Principal- KMCT College of Allied Health Sciences ] inaugurated the progamme. Prof. Vijay Selvan N [Professor & HOD -Department of Physiotherapy, KMCT College of Allied Sciences] presided over the function.

The webinar saw expert sessions on different topics. Mrs. Nimya. N.K. [Assistant professor- KMCT College of Allied Health Sciences] took a detailed session on Rehabilitation and Long COVID 19. Mr Sadique Ali KK [Asst. Professor – KMCT College of Allied Health Sciences] spoke on the topic Physiotherapy management for covid-19 in the acute hospital setting – clinical practice recommendations

At the fag end of the programme, a Question and Answer session was also held. The webinar was conducted using Google Meet. Prof. Vijay Selvan N [Professor & HOD -Department of Physiotherapy, KMCT College of Allied Sciences] led the programme from the front.
